What it is

RiftWords is a cozy word puzzle on a 7-by-10 grid. Tap letters to spell a word, watch it clear, new letters fill the gaps. Support for 13 languages (with 21 planned), four modes, and one daily board per language.

Daily

One puzzle. Your language. Every day.

  • Same daily seed for every player in your language. Resets at local midnight.
  • Share your result as a Wordle-style emoji grid · no words revealed, no spoilers across languages.
  • Three minutes. One try a day. Make it count.
  • The other three modes (Blitz, Ascent, Zen·dless) are endless · play as much as you want, anytime.
Live · resets in 04:21:08

Modes

Four modes. One board. The board fights back.

  • Daily

    Once a day

The same board for every player in their native language. A sprint for three minutes, every day.

  • Blitz

    Endless

Three minutes per round. Spell quickly. Avoid rifts. Use power-ups wisely.

  • Ascent

    Endless

Clear the board to advance. No timer, but difficulty ramps up.

  • Zen·dless

    Endless

No pressure. No limits. Just endless spelling joy.

Rift tiles

  • VolatileTicks down with every word you submit. You have three words to clear it. Miss the deadline and it blows, costing 50 points per tile and taking a few neighbors with it.
  • ScrambleSpell a word using letters in this row and the row's surviving letters all randomize. The board you just memorized is gone.
  • CursedEvery cursed letter in your word deducts 50 points. Sometimes it's the only path to a high-value play. Sometimes not.

Power-ups

  • Row blastClears an entire row of your choice. Granted at timer milestones in Blitz and Daily.
  • Column blastClears an entire column. Granted at timer milestones in Blitz and Daily.
  • Cluster blastBlasts a 3×3 area centered on a tile you pick. Granted at timer milestones in Blitz and Daily.
  • NukeDestroys every tile on the board. Available in Ascent and Zen·dless only.

Four modes · same grid, four feelings
  • RiftWords Blitz mode with 5 seconds remaining, score 1,389, and the row-blast power-up panel open showing seven coral volatile tiles ready to detonate. Confirm Blast button in green.
Blitz · final seconds, row blast
  • RiftWords Zen-dless mode, Level 1, score 469. POTATOES highlighted in green. The top three rows of the grid are empty · the board is being cleared from the top down.
Zen · clear the board, no clock
  • RiftWords Ascent mode, Level 2, score 995, with the constraint 4+ LETTERS active. WATERSPOUTS being spelled in green. Several rift tiles visible: a volatile with a 3-word countdown, scramble tiles in yellow, and cursed tiles marked with a skull.
